| The mission of the
Physical Facilities Department is to help plan, create and maintain a high
quality campus environment conducive to teaching, learning and research within
budget constraints. The staff of the Department of Physical Facilities
strives to anticipate and provide the physical environment that enables
Missouri S&T to achieve its objectives in teaching, learning, and research.
In support of this endeavor, the department has implemented a Work Request System. This system allows the customer to
enter routine requests directly into MAXIMO, our computerized maintenance
management system (CMMS). Missouri S&T is building a new student Residence
Hall on Hwy 63 and along University Drive. Additionally construction has
started on the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Building addition and
renovation project
